As every year, a group of students from the Police Academy of Lower Saxony in Rothenburg visited the Police Academy in Szczytno. On 5-8 May, 2025, we hosted a group of Erasmus+ scholarships from the German academy, accompanied by Colonel Jacek Ruliński, who also served as an interpreter.

The delegation was welcomed by the authorities of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences – L.t. Col. dr Agnieszka Sadło-Nowak, Capt. dr Łukasz Kacprowicz, and 2nd Lt. dr Grzegorz Bąk – as well as Anna Ćwiklińska, the academy’s Erasmus+ program coordinator.

During their stay, the guests toured the facilities of the Police Analytical and Research Center and participated in the training on the Police action simulator in crisis situations. They also visited the District Police Station in Szczytno to learn about its tasks, infrastructure, service culture, and preventive-social initiatives. Later, they had the opportunity to visit the Center for Research and Competence Development in the Police and took part in several hours of tactical and intervention technique training.

During the closing meeting, the guests from Rothenburg emphasized their positive impressions from the visit. They admired the professionalism of the academic staff and the Academy's facilities.

Their visit not only fulfills the terms of the cooperation agreement but also continues the long-standing friendly relations between the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Police Academy of Lower Saxony in Rothenburg.
