On 11 March, 2025, Col. dr Agata Malasińska-Nagórny – the Commandant-Rector of the Police Academy in Szczytno and Col. dr Ruslan Serbyn – the Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv concluded a Memorandum on Cooperation in the sphere of educational, scientific, organizational, informational and methodical support for the activities.

The result of the meeting between Ms. Commandant-Rector of the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, which was held on 26-29 January 2025 during the visit of representatives of the Ukrainian delegation at the Police Academy in Szczytno was signing the Memorandum. The January talks concerned the development of directions for joint scientific and research activities and plans to strengthen polish-ukrainian ties in the field of police education. During the subject visit, an update of the content of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Academy of Internal Affairs and the Police Academy in Szczytno dated 19 December 2014 was initiated. According to the Memorandum, the area of bilateral cooperation includes the organization of visits, participation in exchange programs for students and employees of the Academies. The Police Academy in Szczytno and the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv committed to mutual implementation of scientific, research, development and educational projects, as well as the exchange of scientific information, educational and methodological materials and publications in the periodicals of the Polish and Ukrainian parties.

The memorandum was concluded for an indefinite period. It will undoubtedly contribute to multifaceted cooperation, which will result in the further development of the two Academies.
