On 10-11 September, 2025, the Police Academy in Szczytno was visited by representatives of the State Border Guard College in Rezekne: Diana Deņisova, Dace Zariņa, and Silvija Rapša. The visit of the Latvian delegation took place as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program.

The visit began with a formal welcome by the authorities of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences of the Police Academy in Szczytno: Lt. Col. Dr. Agnieszka Sadło-Nowak (Dean) and 2nd Lt. Dr. Grzegorz Bąk (Vice-Dean for Student Affairs).

The program focused on issues related to the recruitment mechanisms used by the Academy in the selection process for studies, courses, and training, as well as on dissemination and promotional activities carried out by the Academy.

The delegation from the State Border Guard College in Rezekne showed particular interest in exchanging experiences related to initiatives aimed at encouraging young people to join the ranks of uniformed services.

The visit included meetings with representatives of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences, the Department for Training Organization and Professional Development, and the Social Communication Section of the Academy.

During their stay, the guests also had the opportunity to become acquainted with the Academy’s infrastructure, including the Police Analytical and Research Center and the Library. The Publishing and Printing Department also showcased the Academy’s publications and the printing equipment used in their production.

The visit of the representatives from the State Border Guard College in Rezekne confirmed that international cooperation within the Erasmus+ program provides tangible support for the development of both institutions. The exchange of experiences, especially in the area of academy promotion in the era of extensive social media networks, enables the improvement of existing solutions and the creation of new ones adapted to contemporary realities.
