Col. Dr Agata Malasińska-Nagórny
Col. dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny began her service in 2000 as an officer of the Końskie District Police Headquarters. Initially, she held executive positions in the investigative and criminal units and from 2007 in the Investigation Department of the Regional Police Headquarters in Kielce, most of the time being associated with the Pre-Trial Supervision Team. In the following years, col. dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny held managerial positions. In 2013, she became the Head of the Department of Control and Protection of Classified Information at the City Police Headquarters in Kielce. At the end of 2013, she assumed the position of the Deputy Head of the Criminal Intelligence Department of the Kielce Regional Police Headquarters, while in 2014 she became the Head of the Investigation Department of the Kielce Regional Police Headquarters. In 2017, she was entrusted with the position of the Head of the Forensic Laboratory of the Regional Police Headquarters in Kielce. From 2020, col. dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny was the Deputy Commandant of the Regional Police Headquarters in Kielce. The Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration appointed col. dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny to the position of the Commandant-Rector of the Police Academy in Szczytno as of 20 June, 2024.
Col. dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny received her doctoral degree in law in 2015 at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Her scientific interests focus on the area of forensic science and criminal procedural law. She conducted numerous in-service training courses for officers of the criminal division of the Świętokrzyski garrison in the field of tactics of investigative activities and changes in substantive criminal law and criminal procedure.
During her service, she was awarded the bronze medal for “Long Service” and the gold badge “Meritorious Police Officer”.
