Baku 1

On November 26, 2025, a scientific and practical conference “Actual Problems of Combating Crime” organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan was held in Baku. The event was attended by representatives of law enforcement and public institutions from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hungary, Moldova, Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and the Kyrgyz Republic. The representatives of the National Assembly, selected bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and employees and PhD students of Baku State University, the Police Academy, and the National Aviation Academy were also present. Poland was represented by Cpt. Łukasz Kacprowicz, PhD, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences at the Police Academy in Szczytno.

Visit 1

On 24–25 November 2025, the Police Academy in Szczytno hosted a delegation of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) as part of the EU Arms Monitoring project.

The delegation consisted of Prof. Trpe Stojanovski and Aleksandar Srbinovski from North Macedonia, who met with representatives of the Institute of Criminal Service – Capt. Dr Błażej Jewartowski, Head of the Department of Crime Studies, and  Mjr. Maciej Sostek, Senior Lecturer.

Kiszyniw 1

On 18–21 November 2025, a CEPOL training course on hybrid threats was held in Chișinău (Moldova), where a representative of the Police Academy in Szczytno played a key role.

At the invitation of the organisers, Mjr. Maciej Sostek, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Criminal Service of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences of the Police Academy in Szczytno, participated in the event. He served as a training lead alongside experts from Estonia, France, the United States, and Europol.

The training was organised for Moldovan and Ukrainian police officers within the TOP COP programme, aimed at strengthening operational capabilities and international cooperation in the field of security.

USA 1

A delegation of the Police Academy in Szczytno, led by Gen. Dr.Agata Malasińska-Nagórny,  took part in the international scientific conference “Criminology, Law and The Democratic Ideal,” in a study visit to the FBI Academy in Quantico, and in a meeting with the Police Liaison Officer in the United States.

From 12 to 15 November 2025,  Gen. Dr. Agata Malasińska-Nagórny—Rector-Commander of the Police Academy in Szczytno—together with her deputy, Col. Dr. Monika Porwisz, as well as two academic teachers from the Institute of Legal Sciences Prof. Ewa Guzik-Makaruk and Prof. Emil Pływaczewski attended the “Criminology, Law and The Democratic Ideal” conference organised by the American Society of Criminology (ASC). The event attracts nearly 4,000 participants from over 50 countries, and its programme includes up to 1,100 thematic sessions.

CEPOL 1

On 21–24 October 2025, the Police Academy in Szczytno hosted a training delivered within the framework of CEPOL (the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training)

During the training, participants were introduced to threats arising from coordinated actions which combine both military and non-military methods (e.g., cyberattacks, disinformation) aimed at weakening a state or its institutions.

The event addressed issues related to raising an awareness and building resilience in society, cooperation between services, preventing threats and responding to crises, as well as the protection of critical infrastructure from hybrid threats.

AEPC 125

On 16–17 October 2025, the Executive Committee of the Association of European Police Colleges (AEPC) convened at the Police Academy in Szczytno. The event brought together representatives of police training institutions from Austria, Georgia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, and Switzerland. The meeting was formally opened by the President of AEPC, Director of the Swiss Police Institute, Mr. Stefan Aegerter.

Experiences and good practices in the education of police officers and other law enforcement services in selected European countries.

Houston 1

On October 7–8, 2025, the Police Academy in Szczytno hosted a delegation composed of the leadership and faculty of Sam Houston State University (USA), as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies from the State of Texas.

The visit took place within the framework of long-standing training cooperation between the Polish National Police Headquarters and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, part of which was held at the Police Academy in Szczytno.

Ukraina 1

In July 2025, the Police Academy in Szczytno hosted a specialized training on computer forensics for representatives of law enforcement agencies from Ukraine. The coordinator responsible for hosting the foreign delegation on behalf of the Police Academy in Szczytno was Capt. Dr. Paweł Olber – assistant professor at the Institute of Criminal Service, Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences.
