With regard to the quality of the implementation of international cooperation programs, Ms. Anna Ćwiklińska of the European Integration and International Cooperation Team, the Academy's Erasmus+ program coordinator, participated in the training course entitled: “Efficient and effective project management for EU funded projects” organized by ShipCon Palermo on 24-28 March, 2025.

This was a training course funded by an Erasmus+ grant. The course was attended by 28 representatives of universities from 12 countries. During the course, the principles of proper project application, documentation, financing, monitoring, reporting, risk analysis, promotion and dissemination of results were presented.

The various stages of project implementation were comprehensively discussed, emphasizing good practices conducive to obtaining a positive evaluation. Different ways of avoiding and reducing risks that pose a threat to the course and effectiveness of planned activities were highlighted.

The course was an opportunity to compare the experience of different types of international projects in European countries, including Erasmus+ and Horizon projects.
